Israel closes Bethlehem checkpoint

Ma'an- Israel's Civil Administration said the 300 checkpoint in Bethlehem would be closed to those entering the West Bank on Monday due to a Jewish holiday.

The administration said the closure was scheduled because celebrations would be held at Rachel's Tomb, adjacent to the checkpoint. The terminal would be open for entry into Israel, however. Read more
