Israeli Arab critically wounded after Israeli soldiers open fire at West Bank checkpoint

IMEMC- On Thursday night, Israeli soldiers critically wounded an Israeli Arab who had approached a military checkpoint near the West Bank city of Hebron.

According to an investigation of the incident, the soldiers shot the man after he tried to forcibly make his way through an IDF checkpoint at the Palestinian town of Halhul near Hebron.

On Tuesday, a Palestinian was killed by Israeli soldiers at an army post near the settlement of Mevo Dotan in the northern West Bank.

According to an Israeli military spokesman, the man was shot and killed by soldiers after he opened fire on them.

The circumstances under which the Palestinian was killed are currently being investigated.Read more
