British wheelchair racer tours Palestine

Ma'an - Sporting legend Tanni Grey Thomson visited Palestine on Wednesday as part of a regional tour to promote the participation of disabled people in sport and to promote their role in society.

In the course of her career as a competitor in wheelchair racing, Thompson won 16 Olympic medals, including 11 golds She also won the London marathon six times.

After retiring as a competitive athlete at the age of 37, Thompson has become one of the most powerful people in British sport.......   Full story
