Israeli court extends Palestinian teacher's detention

Ma'an – An Israeli court extended the detention of a Tubas schoolteacher on Thursday, the Tubas Prisoners Society reported.

Mahmoud Abu Al-Tayyeb was detained without cause on Tuesday at Ramon prison when he visited his brother Younis, a lifetime prisoner at the facility, the society said.

Abu Al-Tayyeb had traveled to southern Israel with a permit for the visit. Read more
