Israel rejects UNESCO decisions on shrines

Palestine News Network- Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon follows Netanyahu in condemning UNESCO for naming several religious sights as holy to both Muslims and Jews.

...The shrine, located in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem, is known to Muslims as Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque and to Jews as Rachael's Tomb. It is a very important religious site for both groups, as is the Cave of the Patriarchs, a holy site in the West Bank city of Hebron. Read more
