Israel detains former Palestinian minister at checkpoint

Ma’an- Israeli forces detained former Minister of Detainees' Affairs Wasfi Qabha at a West Bank checkpoint on Friday, witnesses said.

Qabha was going to visit his family in Bart'a village in Jenin when he was stopped at Bart'a checkpoint. His wife said forces held him for two hours before he suffered a diabetic attack. She said soldiers asked her to leave, and Qabha was transferred to the Al-Khadeera hospital. Read more
