Newsweek's "Most influential Rabbi" opposes Israeli withdrawal

IsraelNationalNews – Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, listed in Newsweek as Most Influential Rabbi in the United States, is visiting Israel – and reiterates the futility of contemplating an Israeli withdrawal.

Rabbi Krinsky, head of the central arm of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, the International Education Center, is currently on a short visit to Israel. He took the opportunity to reiterate that Israel must not and cannot contemplate withdrawing from any territory under its control.

This past June, Krinsky, 77, was listed as #1 on Newsweek's list of Top 50 Most Influential Rabbis in America, narrowly beating out Reform Rabbi Eric Yoffie, who represents 1.5 million Jews in more than 900 temples in his role as president of the Union of Reform Judaism.
