Ma’an- Palestinian detainees held in Israel's Negev desert prison said strong winds had ripped apart a tent in the facility, a prisoners' center said.
In addition to buildings, there are nine tent compounds in the prison, and the center warned that if the stormy weather continues further tents will be damaged.
The prison facilities are not capable of protecting detainees, and inadequate shelter posed a real threat to sick prisoners in particular, the center added. Read more
