Palestinian detainee tortured in Israeli prison needs psychological treatment

Ma'an- A Palestinian detainee needs psychological treatment after being tortured and held for long periods in solitary confinement by Israeli forces, a detainees' center said,

The center in Tubas said Israeli authorities tortured Rafat Odeh with boiling oil.

Odeh did not suffer any psychological problems until he was detained by Israeli forces, the center said, adding that his parents were extremely concerned and urged President Mahmoud Abbas to look into the issue. Read more
