Israeli airstrikes injure four in Gaza

Four Palestinians were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted smuggling tunnels along the Gaza Strip’s border with Egypt on Tuesday morning, a medical official said, while another strike hit near Gaza City.

...An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed that warplanes struck two tunnels in the border area, as well as what he described as "a Hamas-owned weapons facility in Gaza City."

Sources in Gaza, however, said the northern target was a blacksmith's shop in Gaza City's Zaytoun neighborhood.

Israel's military spokesperson further reported that strikes were in response to two "rockets," actually homemade projectiles, reportedly fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel on Monday evening.

No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the reported strikes...causing no casualties or damage, according to the military
