PA cabinet rejects temporary borders

The Palestinian caretaker government rejected all partial solutions and plans to establish a Palestinian state on temporary borders during its weekly cabinet meeting in Ramallah on Monday.

Cabinet members guaranteed to end the transition stage which started sixteen years ago following the Oslo Accords and that the Palestinian state will be on lands occupied by Israel in 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.

The cabinet expressed their appreciation for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who rejected the proposal of a Palestinian state on temporary borders. Full story
