Israel kidnaps Palestinian lawmaker

Press TV- Israeli forces have abducted the secretary general of the Palestinian parliament in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Mahmoud al-Ramahi was kidnapped in his home in a pre-dawn raid on Wednesday.

His wife said the soldiers who attacked their home had their faces covered.

The Israeli military has so far failed to explain the reason behind Ramahi's abduction. The developments came shortly after the re-launch of the reconciliation talks between the Hamas representatives and the Fatah party in Syria. Read more
