Seven oil and gas service companies agreed on Thursday to pay $236 million in criminal and civil penalties for bribing government officials in 10 countries.
While Israel is not on that list of countries, three of the companies are involved in prospecting for gas off Israel's shores in the Tamar and Leviathan gas fields: Transocean Inc., Pride International and Noble Corporation. Read more
