Report: Unilateral land transfer affects Palestinian villagers

Ma’an- Residents of a small village in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights told reporters they were furious on Wednesday, following a unilateral decision by the Israeli government to hand half of the town over to Lebanon.

...UN border demarcation teams working in the Golan Heights after Israel's invasion of Lebanon in 2006, put the north side of the village on the Lebanese side of the border. Israel maintained control of the area, putting it in violation of the UN-determined border map. Read more
