Gaza officials fear closure of border crossing

Ma’an- The bulk-goods crossing between Israel and Gaza will be closed at the end of January, officials in Gaza City told Ma'an on Tuesday, saying they were informed of the impending closure by Israel.

Spokeswoman for Israel's Coordination and Liaison Administration for the Gaza Strip Lieutenant Nili Aharon told Ma'an she was not aware of any planned changes in the crossings schedule, adding that no commercial goods had entered through that crossing for almost a year. Read more
