Israel detains 14 Palestinians in large arrest raid near Nablus

Ma'an- Israel's military carried out an extensive arrest raid in the northern West Bank early Wednesday, locals said.

Fourteen young members of Fatah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine were seized in Burqa village, onlookers said.

The military used ground vehicles and an aerial drone as soldiers searched homes, locals said.

The detainees, all of them under the age of 21, were identified as Mustafa Ahmad Yousef Hejjah, Mohammad Naji Abu Leil, Lu’ay Seif, Mohammad Tayseer Salah, Ali Abed Al-Majid Daghlas, Qais Abed Al-Jabbar Daghlas, Sanad Ragheb and Mohammad Ragheb Salah, Maher Mohammad Ameen Ash-Sheikh, Mahmoud Khaled Far’ouneiyah, Qasem Abed Ar-Raheem Fares, Mohmmad Walid Hejjah, and Maher and Majed Seif.

Israel's military said 18 Palestinians were seized across the West Bank in overnight raids. Read more
