Israeli officials abuse Palestinian MP Omar Abdel Raziq, threaten son

Palestinian Information Center - Palestinian MP Omar Abdel Raziq has been facing hard times since his arrest two weeks back.

Israeli intelligence arrested the Palestinian Legislative Council member and are now holding him for questioning in the Jalma interrogation center in northern Israeli-occupied Palestine.

Abdel Raziq wrote to Gaza prisoner rights expert Fouad al-Khafsh saying he was being interrogated for 15 straight hours daily, deprived of sleep, and threatened to be placed in administrative detention.

Interrogators threatened to arrest Abdel Raziq's son if he did not inform Israeli intelligence of the nature of his work inside the PLC, Khafsh said. Read more
