Settler shoots and kills 15 year old Palestinian boy

Defense for Children International - On 28 January 2011, a 15-year-old boy is shot and killed by a settler during an attack on his village of Beit Ummar, in the occupied West Bank.

Yousif Ekhlayel (15) lived in the village of Beit Ummar, 11 kilometres from the West Bank city of Hebron, and one kilometre from Jethour valley, where he was shot and killed. The village is next to the illegal Israeli settlement of Bat Ayin, close to the settlement block of Gush Etzion, and has been attacked by settlers in the past. On 28 January, a group of settlers descended on the area, shooting at local residents. Nasr, a relative of Yousif, witnessed the events....
