PCHR Weekly Report: 16 wounded in 46 incursions by Israeli troops this week

IMEMC - In its Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory for the week of 03 – 09 February 2011, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights found that Israeli warplanes bombarded a number of targets in the Gaza Strip, damaging a medicine warehouse of the Palestinian Ministry of Health and injuring 11 Palestinian civilians, including 4 children.

Israeli forces continued to target Palestinian workers, farmers and fishermen in border areas in the Gaza Strip this week. 4 Palestinian workers, including a child, were wounded.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces continued to use force against peaceful protests, wounding a Palestinian civilian and abducting 4 human rights defenders. Israeli forces conducted 46 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank and a limited one into the Gaza Strip. During those incursions, Israeli forces abducted 27 Palestinian civilians, including 8 children...
