Omar Suleiman: Egypt will maintain Israel peace treaty

Maan News Agency - Egypt will remain a strong ally of Israel and uphold their peace agreement in the aftermath of an unprecedented uprising calling for the ouster of the regime in Cairo, Egypt's new vice president says.

"Yes we will have a peace agreement," Vice President Omar Suleiman said in an interview with the US broadcaster ABC News that aired Friday. "We will keep it firmly and not violate it at all."
