Israeli forces shoot and injure three Palestinian workers in Northern Gaza; 118 have been injured by Israeli forces in the area since March

Maan News Agency - Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip while they were collecting stones, medics said.

Gaza medical official Adham Abu Salmeya said a 22-year-old man was hit by a gunshot to the pelvic cavity, and another 19-year-old was hit in his right foot as they were collecting aggregates east of Gaza City’s Shuja’iyya neighborhood.

They were evacuated to Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for treatment, Abu Salmeya said.

He added that a 42-year-old man sustained a moderate injury while collecting stone aggregates north of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza strip. He was evacuated to Kamal Udwan Hospital.

The shooting brings the toll for injuries in that area to 118 since March 2010, he said.
