HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces took control of a building under construction on Monday evening in the village of Beit Ummar near Hebron, a local committee said.
The Israeli military took control of the privately-owned building and stationed 15 soldiers there, spokesman of the local popular committee Ayyad Awad told Ma'an.
The building is owned by Yousif Awad Badran, he added.
The presence of the soldiers has unsettled village residents, Awad said. The reason for their presence in the village is unknown.
