Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Gazan Infant Dies Due To Ongoing Israeli Siege

IMEMC - Palestinian medical sources reported Friday that an infant died at a hospital in Gaza after Israel refused to allow his family to transfer him to an Israeli hospital to receive specialized medical treatment.

The infant was identified as Mohammad Khader, 7 months. His death brings the toll of patients who died due to the siege up to 374.

Khader had a swelling in his brain and needed specialized treatment while hospitals in the Gaza Strip lack basic equipment and supplies due to the ongoing illegal Israeli siege.

The family of Khader tried to take him out of Gaza and filed several applications to Israel to allow them to travel, but all of their applications were denied.
