Easing of blockade fails to reverse housing crisis

Ma'an- Farid Batch and his brother Wasfi live about 500 meters from their old houses in Jabaliya, north Gaza. The homes of four Batch brothers once stood next to each other overlooking a grove of olive and lemon trees, after Israel's three week war on Gaza, however, all that is left are the concrete foundations and a tangle of wire and metal.
