Israeli forces close checkpoint

Ma'an- Witnesses reported the sudden closure of the Tauupah checkpoint, locally known as Za’tara, following a car chase and the flipping over of an Israeli police vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.

The police vehicle appeared to be chasing a Palestinian car, which escaped capture when it bypassed the checkpoint, witnesses said, adding that Israeli ambulances arrived on the scene shortly after and the crossing was closed. Read more
