[Israeli] Military seals two of three Gaza crossings

...Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip in June 2007, drastically limiting shipments of essential goods to the territory of 1.5 million residents. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA), recent deliveries have plummeted to 17 percent of pre-blockade levels. Full story
