Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Jenin: Israeli forces herd men into town square

Israeli forces carried out a wide-scale detention campaign east of Jenin overnight Wednesday, targeting young men in the village of Deir Abu Daif.

...Villagers said Israeli troops stormed the community and broke into several homes during the overnight campaign, forcing families to evacuate their homes as soldiers searched and ransacked them. Several dozen villagers were herded into the main square where they were questioned by Israeli officers and had their identity cards confiscated for hours. Full story
