Medics: Israeli forces shoot, detain Gaza man

Israeli forces shot and detained a Palestinian on the Gaza Strip’s northern border on Wednesday morning, a government medical official said.

Muawiyah Hassanein, the director of ambulance and emergency services in the Gaza Health Ministry, told Ma’an that the Israeli forces opened fire on a man who has not yet been identified, injuring him.

Hassanein said the soldiers denied a Palestinian ambulance permission to retrieve him, leaving him bleeding near the border. Full story
