Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Shock follows video of settler running over Palestinian, twice

Ma'an

The video of a bystander shocked the world Tuesday, catching the actions of what appears to be a settler running over a wounded Palestinian man in a gas station in Hebron on Thursday.

The victim, an unidentified man allegedly shot several times following his reported role in a knife attack at the gas station, appeared in the video staggering, when a tan town-car ran him down, stopped, reversed and ran him over a second time.

The video was taken on Thursday, though at the time Israeli military spokespeople made no mention of the settler-attack, and only said the Palestinian man had been shot.

The video captures several soldiers standing by as the incident unfolded...

The Palestinian man is left underneath the car audibly screaming...

According to Al-Jazeera, the Palestinian man was taken to hospital in critical condition, where doctors operated and downgraded his condition to serious. The report said the Israeli man was put under house arrest...

...Last fall in Hebron dozens of soldiers were sent to evacuate the Ar-Rajabi home in Hebron, following which rampaging settlers from the nearby Kyriat Arba shot a Palestinian point blank. The man was never charged. Full story
