The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. The Israeli military detains two civilians at the Nil‘in weekly protest

A Palestinian teen and an Israeli supporter were detained by Israeli soldiers during an anti-wall protest at the village of Nil’in near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

The villagers gathered at the lands near the Israeli built wall and held the midday Friday prayers.

The protest ended when clashes broke out between local youth and Israeli soldiers. During the clashes Israeli troops detained a local boy and an Israeli supporter.

Troops attacked the village and chased local youths; no injuries were reported.  Full story
