Medics: Israeli forces shell Gaza overnight

Israeli reconnaissance planes overnight on Sunday shelled open areas in the northern Gaza Strip, with no casualties reported.....

On Sunday morning, five Palestinian workers were injured when Israeli forces deployed artillery shells near the former Israeli settlement of Gush Katif. An Israeli military spokesman said that the fire was aimed toward a Palestinian who approached the Israeli boundary in a "suspicious manner."  Full story
