Former American justice minister arrives in Gaza

PIC- Ramsey Clark, the former American justice minister, arrived in the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border terminal heading a delegation at a late hour on Tuesday night.

Clark's arrival coincided with an Israeli aerial raid that targeted Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and wounded a Palestinian citizen other than inflicting big damage to houses south of the city.

The government committee to receive delegations said that Clark was on a solidarity visit to Gaza to get acquainted on the overall conditions in the Strip following the last Israeli war and the siege and would meet with Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya.

Clark visited Gaza around a year ago shortly before former American president Jimmy Carter also visited the besieged coastal enclave. Read more
