Israeli forces raid north Jordan Valley villages

Maan News Agency - The Israeli army and police raided villages in the northern Jordan Valley near Tubas on Wednesday morning, seizing tractors from farmers in the area.

Israeli forces and armored vehicles entered homes in a number of villages in the Tubas district and captured several tractors from residents, a villager whose tractor was seized told Ma'an.

Local witnesses said Israeli soldiers took the tractors to the nearby settlement of Mechola.

A military spokeswomen said, "There was activity by the army and police in the area to track vehicles for licenses and permits, and vehicles are being confiscated by police."
