Report: Facebook removes Haniyeh fan site

The administrators of the social networking website Facebook have removed a page set up by supporters of de facto Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, the London-based daily Al-Hayat reported on Sunday.

The webpage, called “Commander Ismail Haniyeh,” had attracted more than 10,000 fans by the time it was removed, the report states.

One Facebook user connected with the page told Al-Hayat that no explanation had been given for the removal of the page.... Full story
