Israel releases 5 detained from Balata Refugee Camp

Israeli authorities released five Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons on Saturday, all from the Balata Refugee Camp in eastern Nablus.

Abdul Rahman Abu Jneid was amongst those released, having served 26 months in several different Israeli prisons. He commented on poor living conditions within the jails and the prison administration's neglect of detainees' needs, adding that prisoners are punished arbitrarily to force them into confessions, Abu Jneid said...   Full story
