Female detainees moved to cell 'where human beings cannot live'

Fifteen [Palestinian] female detainees at the Damon detention center in Israel were transferred to a new section that falls well below required standards...

...the new sector "is a place where human beings cannot live, particularly during the winter. There are no windows, no doors, and electricity wires remain uncovered, which could potentially cause a fatal accident when it rains."

... the cells lack hot water and heaters, with no bathrooms. "The toilets are public and outside the cells. The women have limited and restricted times when they are allowed to use the facilities," he said, describing the kitchen as "poor."
