Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Shepherds Field Kindergarten students demand human rights

Dozens of small children with the Shepherds Field kindergarten in Beit Sahour marched alongside their parents demanding recognition of the rights of children to live in a world free of violence.

The Wednesday afternoon march saw kindergarteners and scout bands parade through the Old City south of Bethlehem with cartoon mascots bearing signs calling on Palestinians and the world to work against the violation of children's rights.

The march ended in the Beit Sahour municipality hall, where children were treated to a play by the mascots teaching them about their rights as children. The play was seen by four kindergarten classes from around the town.  Full story
