Israeli forces detain 8 northwest of Hebron

Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians early Monday morning during a raid in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.

Palestinian security sources said Israeli troops entered the town, storming a number of homes. One resident, Ibrahim Barath'ieh, whose son was detained, said his home was raided, and sound grenades were fired nearby, adding that he was told to evacuate his home while soldiers and sniffer dogs searched the premises.
