Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Schram and University of Michigan Vice-President for Communications David Lampe also said in a conference call that they "would consider" making an apology for misleading emails sent to members of the public about the situation.

They asked If Americans Knew to submit an official request to be an underwriter (again) and that Weir also submit a request concerning the erroneous emails, which she has sent them. They agreed to give a response within one week.

A similar pledge to consider a sponsorship by If Americans Knew was made by Schram last October. Afterward, however, he and his staff failed to return phone calls and emails from If Americans Knew on this matter. Last week Schram finally agreed to participate in a conference call with If Americans Knew after Weir and approximately 20 supporters visited the station in person.  Full story
