Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Israeli settler runs down a Palestinian child in Hebron

IMEMC - Palestinian medical sources in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, reported on Sunday evening that a Palestinian child was wounded after a settler rammed him with his speeding motorcycle in the Al Sahla Street, in the Old City.

The child was identified as Abdullah Al Mohtasib, 11. He suffered concussions and bruises and was moved to a local hospital in the city.

The settler fled the scene while local residents moved the wounded child to a local hospital.

Settlers usually drive away after similar accidents while the Israeli army and police usually fails to track them down.
