Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

This week's activity was dedicated to commemorate the death of Yousef 'Amira who was killed by Israeli troops in 2008 during a nonviolent protest in the village.

The villagers managed to hold their prayers on the lands slated for confiscation for the sake of building the wall.

Following the prayer, protesters carried 'Amira's photos and waved Palestinian flags as they marched towards the construction site.

Israeli troops present there fired a number of tear gas canisters at them causing dozens of them to choke.

Five residents, youth and children, have been killed by Israeli troops in the past two years during Ni'lin anti-wall protests.
