Media Center condemns incitement by settlement mayor

Wafa- The Palestinian Government Media Center (PGMC) Monday strongly condemned a statement by Shaul Goldstein, mayor of the Israeli settlement of Gush Etzion, that he believes Palestine does not exist and never has.

During a meeting with a group of visiting South African journalists at Goldstein’s regional council, Etzion said: ‘There are no Palestinian people; it is an invention of the world. The land of Palestine was for the Jews and the world invented Palestinian people to fight Israel.’

PGMC called on the international community to note and condemn this Israeli incitement against the Palestinian people, and their right to exist, which is protected by international law. Read more
