Palestine seeks Observer Status in the WTO

Wafa– The ministry of economy’s technical support advisory team for membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Monday held a second meeting in Ramallah to continue preparation for Palestine’s admission as an observer in the WTO.

Minister of Economy Hasan Abu Libdeh, who chaired the meeting, urged members of the advisory team to exert every effort possible to conclude their work before the next WTO meeting with a hope Palestine will be ready to receive at least an observer status if not full membership. Read more
