Israeli blockade stops Gazan efforts to rebuild

More than six months have passed since Israel's war on the Gaza Strip, but many people's homes remain destroyed.

The United Nations has recently stepped in, with a $12 million project under way to clear hundreds of thousands of tonnes of rubble.

But, Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros reports, with the blockade keeping out vital equipment, the rubble is piling up.
