Israeli forces attack farmer, prevent harvest in Beit Ummar

Farmers from the towns of Beit Ummar and Khirbat Safa north of Hebron were attacked and prevented from reaching their lands by Israeli forces Saturday morning.

Soldiers barred the groups from accessing agricultural areas saying they had been classified “closed military zones.” One elderly farmer, Hammad Jaber Sleibi, was assaulted as he tried to gain access to his grape vines.
