The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

UNDP begins removal of 420 tons of rubble in Gaza

Ash-Shanti said that it would take multiple work crews (20 workers at each site) up to five months to complete the project. He said that it will take a month to clear the rubble from the Saraya compound alone, noting that many of the buildings around the site were also rendered unusable by the Israeli bombing.

The rubble will be moved to a landfill in Khan Younis. Some of it will be recycled in construction. Some will also be used to build protective barriers along Gaza’s seashore.
