Land confiscations resume as Anata targeted with military orders

Israeli authorities delivered military orders for the confiscation of Palestinian property to several residents of Anata, next to the illegal Israeli settlement of Mishur Adumim on the pretext of the move being for the “public interest,” owners said.

...The officials presenting the orders were from the Israeli department of Absentee Property.

... Before the 1967 Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Anata was one of the largest villages in the central West Bank, with 30,000 dunums of agricultural land.
