European Union 'dismayed' over settler vandalism

he presidency of European Union is dismayed at Friday's vandalization of a Palestinian mosque in the northern West Bank village of Yasuf, Swedish Consul General to Jerusalem Nils Eliasson said.

...Israeli settlers set fire to the Al-Kabir Mosque in Yasuf on Friday morning. The fire destroyed copies of the Quran and other objects inside. Settlers also wrote graffiti in Hebrew on the mosque’s floor reading, “We will have our revenge” and “We will burn you all.”

...Even one settler added his condemnation late Friday night. The illegal settlement of Teqoa's chief rabbi, Menachem Froman, denounced those responsible for attack.

He told Ma'an the incident "does not represent the settlers, nor Jews." Full story
