Four Palestinians killed, six injured In Gaza tunnel collapse; 150 have died in tunnel accidents since Israel began siege four years ago

IMEMC – Palestinian medical sources reported Tuesday that four Palestinians were killed and six others were injured when a tunnel collapse on them in Al Barazil border area, in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The four Palestinians killed in the incident were identified as Samir Abdul-Rahman Shaqqoura, 32, Abdul-Halim Abdul-Rahman Shaqqoura, 22, Haitham Mustafa Mansour, 20, and Abdul-Rahman Adnan Al Mheisin, 28. All are from Khan Younis district, in southern Gaza.

The bodies of the four residents were moved to Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital in Rafah. Six residents were also hospitalized and received the needed medical attention.

It is worth mentioning that more than 150 Palestinians were killed in similar tunnels accidents since Israel imposed the deadly siege on Gaza more than four years ago.
