Extremist Jews storm Al-Aqsa compound

Wafa– Israeli police Wednesday allowed extremist Jewish groups under its protection into al-Aqsa Mosque compound, one of Islam’s holiest sites, in Jerusalem’s Old City as part of celebrations marking the annexation of East Jerusalem in 1967.

Extremist Jewish groups had announced they will organize an “invasion” of al-Aqsa Mosque complex and a provocative ceremonial march where hundreds of Israeli settlers will raise Israeli flags on this occasion. Read more
